L&L attorneys excel in representing clients in a broad array of litigation matters before federal and local judicial bodies. Our attorneys have successfully represented clients in a wide range of Matters including the successful defense of a class action alleging violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act, complex coverage and priority issues between Competing insurance carriers, and the application of sovereign immunity and the public.
All senior lawyers in the Firm who have an Active litigation practice are graduates of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA). L&L has experience handling litigation matters that range from defending personal and property claims, to construction claims. In the construction law area, we have represented owners, contractors, Subcontractors and surety insurance companies on a variety of Construction claim matters before administrative, arbitration and Judicial tribunals.
In addition to private-sector clients, the Firm has represented government clients in multi-million dollar procurements for construction services and negotiations to resolve disputes regarding the scope of contract provisions, and has litigated bid protests and claims before the Contract Appeals Board. L&L assists governmental entities in managing and implementing major procurements and in developing effective procurement policies. We help government clients draft contract solicitations and manage the source selection process. Our practice includes both conventional procurements and transactions aimed at out-sourcing government services to the private sector.
